My thoughts about the ESC 2012
My second heroine of the night besides Loreen.
Lots of the watchers probably aren’t aware of the current situation in Azerbaijan. The moderators couln’t help it but smile away the statement of our comedienne, Anke Engelke. She made a clear yet friendly statement during the voting towards the totalitarian regime of Azerbaijan, being the only person at the show giving the opposition of the country a voice.
»Tonight, nobody could vote for their own country, but it is good to be able to vote and it is good to have a choice. Good luck on your journey Azerbaijan, Europe is watching you.«
Danke, Anke!
Ich war erst geschockt als sie es gesagt hat und dann verdammt stolz! Genau, danke Anke !
I mean, come on isn’t that a reason to just live in Germany? A lot of guys are like him here :) Also, did you know that Jamie Cullum wrote that song for him? RIGHT.
I think he cared much about peoples creativity and how they could express it, without being judged.

That would include my favorite book, my lovely guitar and a CD with 70’s Rock on it and I .
…please, PLEASE stop wearing t-shirts of bands or musicians you bought from H&M and then taking pictures of yourself with instagram in front of your dirty mirror.
Sincerely,
